Tour to Tavush

A trip to the Tavush region through the territory of the Dilijan reserve.

Excursion around the territory of Haghartsin Monastery. The monastery is nestled in a fairy-tale forest in the gorge of a small mountain river and suddenly appears right from behind a bend in the road. The monastery was built in the 10th-13th centuries, and despite the restoration work completed here in 2014, this place still has its own unique aura and atmosphere.

A trip to the blue pearl of Armenia – the high-mountain lake Sevan (1900m). Inspection of the Sevanavank monastery (IX century) on the Sevan peninsula. The monastery was founded in 874 by Princess Mariam.

Lunch on the shore of Lake Sevan.

Excursion and cheese tasting in the village of Artsvakan. The Mikaelyan family produces exclusive types of cheeses in the Gegharkunik region of Armenia. They have two “alcoholic” cheeses, as well as cachotta, a cheese wrapped in grape leaves, and a kind of parmesan called “Armesan”.
