Orthopedic surgery or orthopedics (alternatively spelled orthopedics) is a branch of surgery dealing with conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system.

Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and non-surgical treatments to treat musculoskeletal injuries, spinal disorders, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
